Vocational Educational Training in Schools (VETiS) at GV Health is a two-year program which provides year 11 and 12 school students with practical insight and experience working within a healthcare environment.
The VETiS program enables students to access a wide variety of both clinical and non-clinical professions and upon successful completion of the two-year program students will obtain the following qualifications: The VETiS program is delivered in a classroom environment at GV Health’s Graham Street, Shepparton campus and includes placements in various departments across the hospital to support student’s classroom learnings.
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
This qualification enables graduates to work in a range of roles that assist health professionals.
Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
This qualification enables graduates to assist allied health professionals and work under direct supervision. Graduates do not conduct programs or therapeutic intervention; however, they assist professionals who do.
